1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using farecrown.com (the "Website") and our booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Agency Role & Third-Party Suppliers

FareCrown operates as an intermediary (Online Travel Agency). We do not own or operate airlines, hotels, or car rental companies. All bookings made through our Service are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the Third-Party Supplier (e.g., the airline’s Contract of Carriage).

3. Pricing, Fares, and "Live" Inventory

  • Fare Volatility: Airfares are dynamic and can change in seconds. A booking is not "Confirmed" until a ticket number is issued by the airline and a final confirmation email is sent by FareCrown.
  • Price Increases: If a price increases between the time of your request and the time of ticketing, we will notify you. You will have the option to pay the difference or cancel the request without charge.
  • Taxes and Fees: All displayed fares include government-imposed taxes and our service fees. However, additional airline fees (baggage, seat selection) may apply and are paid directly to the carrier.

4. Cancellations and Refunds (2026 Update)

In compliance with the latest 2026 DOT mandates and CTDPA guidelines:

  • 24-Hour Rule: For bookings made at least seven days prior to departure, you may cancel within 24 hours for a full refund, subject to the airline's specific 24-hour policy.
  • Automated Refunds: If an airline cancels a flight or makes a "significant change," you are entitled to a prompt refund to your original payment method. FareCrown will facilitate this within 14 business days of receiving funds from the carrier.
  • FareCrown Fees: Unless otherwise stated, FareCrown’s agency service fees are non-refundable.

5. User Responsibilities

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation. You are responsible for ensuring that all traveler information (names, passport details) matches your government-issued ID exactly.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using the Website for fraudulent bookings or "speculative" reservations.
  • Using automated "bots" or scrapers to access our pricing data.
  • "Double Booking" identical itineraries on multiple websites.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FareCrown shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of airline delays, cancellations, strikes, or acts of God (Force Majeure). Our maximum liability is limited to the amount of the service fee paid to us for the specific booking in question.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Haven County, CT.
